Anyone have any advice on websites that I can get good templates from for a resume?

Also, has anyone ever used a resume making service, and did you have a good experience? Any recommended?

I promised the VP of marketing for Nissan USA my resume by the end of this week and need some help. :scared:

If you can overcome the stigma, your local Social Services office should have people who will happily help you put one together.

I've typed in 'professional CV layout' into Yahoo!/Google before and found some really good layouts tailored to specific fields. Give that a try and you'll see what I mean.

I'll give that a shot. At this point I'd like to at least have someone help me with it, so I can do it right.

Hmm, didn't know that. Will call them tomorrow. 👍

Also make a cover letter, show that you want the job more than anyone else, that's how I got my dream job fixing planes for a flight school.

A professional Resume is good but also make sure you stick out in other ways. Either face to face or by ringing or going that extra step. Australia might be a little different to your country but I can honestly say that the last few jobs I've got, my resume had little to do with it. It was more about my attitude and the fact I stood out and made those extra steps over everyone else.

Chances are the jobs I am doing this for will be out of state. It's not like I really need a new job, just putting my info out there just in case. I'm good friends with the guy mentioned in the OP, so I'm sure he can work some magic.
