ok, im going to take a car with a high reving motor and see how much hp i can lose through reving and oil. i also want to find out how dirty you can get the car. before anyone else says anything i know that this has been tried before but only with the oil.

im going to use the ford gt. i love it, but lets see what it takes to kill it.

What car are you going to use? Too bad the Espace F1 van isnt in GT4.
 
i really loved that van. im leaning towards a japanese car, maybe a honda (sorry , i just dont really like them) im rying a fully tuned civic but it would probably work better with a race version car. hmmmm.💡 the mobil nsx. its white so when it gets dirty it will show better
 
hmmm...I remember someone was doing this before and he found out that horsepower only drop a certain amount and it just stops.
 
ya i remember that to.i remember he said something really stupid. oh yeah. he said hey look my cars shine gets lower as my oil gets dirtier. i guess he didnt know about dirtying. but yeah that as a while ago when i first found this website.

you know what, im gunna forget the rev thing and just put it on bspec and have it drive around trail mountain for a while. i like to stay up all night and day so ill just keep an eye on my ps2
 
well i have the gt40 going around nurburg its on its 7th lap. the suspension SUCKS tho. i have it fullt tuned and didnt change any settings. its sounds and feels like i need to put traction control at ten. and the suspension is hard as hell. i know why, didnt increase ridgity. the body's flexin everywhere and all you can hear is little repeated rythms of each tire losing traction for like .2 seconds..
 
The max the car's Horsepower will drop is 5% from what it has right after purchase without a oil change performed. If the car started with 200 the lowest it will go is 190, for example.
 
now im just trying to get it really dirty, then ill bring it into photo mode.
 
But the thing is, no one has yet experimented to see if lots of redlining makes the HP fall faster than normal, even if it doesn't fall farther.
 
from what ive done i havent lost any hp. maybe in the 400m you do but i left my car red lining for over 30min and didnt lose any hp.
 
Buy 2 identical brand new cars, change oil, note down the power.
Drive one let's say 100 laps on Super Speedway in 6th gear ; note down the power.
Take the second car and drive another 100 laps on Super Speedway but redlining in 1st gear all the way long ; note down the power and compare.
That should be enough to know if the power drops faster while redlining.
 
well i should go see how much hp my gt4o has. i lef in bspec mode and when i woke up it had done 800 laps.i worte down the power before i did it tho.

That should be enough to know if the power drops faster while redlining.

Or, to make things easier, you can tell your B-Spec driver to do it. Set one on to 1/2 (which I believe will make the driver don't change on redline) and the other on 4/5 (which will always change at redline).

There wouldn't be a lot of gearchanges though at the Super Speedway..
