I know this puts me in a box, but being on PS5, no racing game will tempt me unless it uses PSVR2.
If this game ever does then I will definitely buy it just to be able to race different cars and tracks than GT7.

There is just no way I can race flat screen anymore.....

I'm 100% with you.

What is full force?

What is FullForce?

Last updated: June 10, 2025
Built for the instant response and zero backlash of direct drive systems, FullForce is a new force feedback protocol developed by FANATEC®. It fuses high-fidelity vibration cues with the core force feedback signal to deliver a more immersive driving experience. When the direct drive base is securely hard mounted, FullForce can transmit these vibrations through the entire frame, bringing your cockpit to life.

While most of today’s racing simulators are effective at replicating realistic steering forces, they often fall short in capturing the finer details that real-world drivers experience behind the wheel. Subtle sensations such as the rumble of the engine, the textured feedback from varying road surfaces, or the sudden vibrations signaling a loss of traction are typically absent. These elements play a role in how drivers connect with their vehicles and could help them to react more intuitively during critical moments.

Enhanced force feedback

FANATEC®’s FullForce technology addresses this gap by enabling developers to incorporate these nuanced tactile cues directly into the force feedback signal. Whether derived from in-game physics or audio sources, these high-fidelity vibration effects add a new layer of realism to the sim racing experience. When paired with a securely hard-mounted direct drive system, FullForce can transmit these vibrations through the entire frame of a racing cockpit, creating a more dynamic, immersive connection between the driver and the virtual environment.

FullForce Features

FullForce is a force feedback feature exclusive to Fanatec’s ClubSport DD and ClubSport DD+ direct drive bases. iRacing is the first title to support this feature, which improves the realism of the force feedback signal. iRacing provides a dedicated set of sliders to allow the user to fine-tune the behavior of the effects.

Here are our recommended settings for iRacing’s Wheel Low Frequency Effects:

  • Enable Wheel LFE: On
  • Use Physics Effects: On
  • Main Volume: 0dB
  • Car Body Impact: 0dB
  • Engine: 0dB
  • Gear Change: 10dB
  • Rev Limiter: 10dB
  • Rumble Strip: 10dB
  • Wheel Slip: 10dB
  • Road Texture: -25dB
The overall strength of FullForce can be adjusted to your preference in the Fanatec Tuning Menu, (shown as ‘FUL’ in most wheel displays).

While the Engine and Road Texture channels are dynamic (changing frequency as the revs rise or when the vehicle speed increases for example), their constant vibration can somewhat mask the other effects, so some users might prefer to run these much lower. It is not recommended to run all the sliders at max, as this tends to ‘clip’ the output and potentially could reduce the fidelity.

Hoping we get decent TrueForce customisation on Logitech - some big differences between Forza Motorsport, Dirt 2.0 and ACC.

Just watched the gameplay trailer on my Xbox to see how it looked compared to laptop since I sit here, had to use YouTube app as it's not in the MS Store Trailers section yet but noticed it was very, very widescreen.

Could it be running in 21:9 on console, would maybe help with the sense of speed if it has that wider feeling? Although why it'd need to cut off the top and bottom just to use a wider angle I'm not sure. Maybe if it is, and it's either with black bars top and bottom, or native 21:9 we could get higher frame rates that way?

Maybe it's not even running on console for this trailer, but if that's a big target audience maybe it is. For Xbox I think only a handful of games use 21:9 so far with Indiana Jones where I first saw it, think Star Wars Outlaws has it too...

Is it hinted at in any way if BMW and Ferrari will be included? They're either keeping them very well under wraps for a great last minute reveal or perhaps getting ready to soften the blow....
Wasn't the 550 already shown? And another ferrari i think.
I'd guess being a gtr 1,2 revival of sorts,it should.
Maybe for expansions.

It was shown when the game was still known as GTR: Revival alongside the M3, iirc. It would be really sad if neither made it in given the game is clearly bringing a good chunk of the GTR roster to this one.

Additionally, there used to be concerns about any game seeing the 550 again given Ferrari & Prodrive's relationship, but Ferrari recognizes the cars under its Classiche program these days, so there's no more bad blood there.

I think they have some incredible oldies which have not been used in any console racing games to my knowledge of late so it would be a bit of a downer if BMW and Ferrari don't make it. But with 30 cars still to go, surely...???

Ferrari is extremely picky and seemingly adversarial with both customers and other companies. It's almost a case of "You're greedy and materialistic and you need us more than we need you" I can sympathise with Jay Leno to a large extent....
Read about Enzo himself, I can see his ethos has certainly carried through the decades 😆

Eye-catching vehicles will make sure, passing GIANTS Software’s booth will not be easy without stopping: The Audi R8 (LMP900), Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, as well as the agricultural JCB Fastrac 4000 iCON Series are parked at the booth
That super trofeo is an interesting choice to advertise the game, considering the IMSA licence. The GT3 Huracan is confirmed for launch, but not that.

For the 550 to have been shown as part of GTRevival, there must have been an agreement or ability to reach an agreement with them. I'm hoping it's more a case of how Ferrari want the announcement to be handled, what car fronts the announcement, do they want to show off a current racecar to spearhead it like the 298 or less likely the 499.

Fingers crossed anyway, the 550 is the one car I have been wanting to see in this game.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the super trofeo is part of the current IMSA structure no?

Also, does that also confirm the final class? As it doesn't actually specify GT3 in the announcement, it specifies super trofeo. Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2

I had speculated that the final class may be a one make GT series to bridge the MX5 and the next classes up, GT4 etc.

Yep, that was my thinking. Super Trofeo is an IMSA support series, they clearly have a good relationship with Lamborghini. I think this might be base class #11.

Yeah i agree. I’m still hopeful that ferrari and bmw will be in the game

I have arrived and I'm ready to criticize! After watching the footage yesterday, my only complaints are the image looks very flat color/contrast wise; the same issue that seems to plague almost every PC sim. Be nice if there was some image adjustment sliders. And second, some of the sound is weird. Like the little extra tings, clangs, and creaks in the car sound weird to me. The car should be deafeningly loud and yet these tiny sounds seem a little too loud in comparison. They stand out. I couldn't help but notice it.
Yes, I noticed that too right away. The engine sound is quite good actually. But the background noise sounds weird. At first I thought there was some sort of background music going on, something like a very quiet ethno track with percussion, no joke. It's sounds like some of the clangs have way too much reverb or overlap with each other and create a weird phase.

Yes, you remind me of initial thoughts I was having while watching it and forgot in that post. It sounds like the small interior ambient noises are in a different soundscape than the engine etc. If that makes sense. Like back in the day with the EAX audio enhancements (or any modern A/V receiver), you could pick "Large Club", "Small Club", "Theater", "Church", etc presets. The creaks and bangs (or more specifically, what sounds like a loose seat belt buckle banging on the cage) sound like they are in a large, cathedral-like space?

And that difference makes them sound isolated and out of place to me. They need to mix them better.

I hope the final class isn't Super Trofeo, what a letdown that would be. I know it's technically not just a GT3 car... but it might as well be. With the amount of aero, power, tires, and assists it gives pretty much the same driving experience, and it doesn't race any different. Classes like MX5 Cup add a different experience and teach different lessons, where as you can get basically the same experience as Super Trofeo by just running a Lambo GT3 spec lobby.

I agree to a point but up until the IMSA announcement we were getting 10 classes. After that announcement it became 11 (+2 for the preorder/day 1 DLC packs making it 13).

So, potentially without the IMSA deal, it would have just been the 10 plus the 2 DLC/preorder classes, and this deal has gifted us the 11th by way of a support category that took minimal effort to implement.

Pure speculation but if class 11 is super trofeo then I've no doubt IMSA deal will have enabled that and without it we would have just had the 10 base classes.
