There’s also a motorcycle racer and a couple of truck sims on the way. You can see why VR2 owners are a bit eager for something new.
Yanks can't pronounce Towcester."Northampton" though. Wonder what the deal is there...
I'm hoping that the Group 5 races include some tourers (although it would mean paying extra - Group 5 is day 1 DLCMx-5 Cup and GT4 for me, thank you. This is great. Now, onto the Wishlist of touring cars at some point.![]()

I understand your view, and there is high chance you are right. So other then GT7 nothing major I just don't see any major racing game like this supporting PSVR2 didn't F1 25 just come out and it didn't support psvr2?
PSvr2 just doesn't have the sales for 3rd party to support it which is why I don't think this game will either. I could be wrong but will see.
If we get late 90s gt1, i’m all inMx-5 Cup and GT4 for me, thank you. This is great. Now, onto the Wishlist of touring cars at some point.![]()
For me is the class with the Saleen S7R good to see that car again and the WEC hyperclass I wonder which car other then that Lamborghini will be in that class?Cars, classes and prices from the trailer.
If it's specifically LMDH, probably the likes of the Acura, BMW, Cadillac, Porsche and Alpine. For me is the class with the Saleen S7R good to see that car again and the WEC hyperclass I wonder which car other then that Lamborghini will be in that class?
Toca Race driver (1,2 and 3). They were fantastic games. I always felt project cars 1&2 were successors of that game series. And this feels right along the same lines. I still believe my very best 'racing' (not game necessarily) was on Project Cars 2. So I have high hopes! This is giving me an impression of like the old TOCA game(s). Don't remember exactly what it was called. Pro Race Driver? I have it on PS2.

Group 5.....And Miots? yep, folded....they've earned my wallet.I'm hoping that the Group 5 races include some tourers (although it would mean paying extra - Group 5 is day 1 DLC)
I saw a difficulty slider, which was great in PC cars. Could dial on the AI jusssst right.Looks really, really good!! Is there realism options to make racing a bit less demanding? I'm not good at racing games in heavy racing traffic and damage costs might destroy me along with the probably heavy penalties from a collision.
I sure hope not. GT7’s grind is so boring. I loved the GT Legends way of game progression, you had to win championships in certain classes in order to unlock those classes. Tons of fun, no grinding, wasn’t too difficult but you did have to redo some races here and there.Yes I understood it has an economy but if the economy is anything like GT7 which makes it mind numbingly boring to earn credits unless you pay real money then that is what I want to avoid. The rest looks fab.
By the sounds of it, I will definitely want to do some quick races first to get used to the physics and FFB etc.I am very excited for this game. So much so that I almost thought about getting it day one. Almostbut seriously the career mode sounds good. I hope they have a quick race as I am not sure where I want to start at. Mods available for console? That is awesome hopefully we get some great mods
Biggest downfall of PC cars. Haha. Everybody popping out on the track with the same livery. Makes for a goofy replay. It doesn’t appear to have a livery editor, since the cars you buy have pre-made liveries but man do I wish they even have a simple livery editor, doesn’t have to be as in depth as GT7, although that would be great. Even if we can pick our own shades of colour on pre-existing liveries that would help. Change the number. If it doesn’t have a livery editor, I will for surely miss GT7’s editor. Making liveries help make the car feel like it’s your own.The one thing I hope to see is the livery editor. It will be nice in career mode if you can create your own livery
While I like the amount of cars GT7 has, it lacks classes imo. I’m good with say five group five cars that are equally matched versus similar cars that are all over the place and needing tweaking and tuning to actually create a class. The focus becomes more on racing than trying to match up cars. 500 cars is too much. Hopefully they get to about 150-200 in time. One of the promises Bell made for the game was “comprehensive” car classes with as full of a roster as possible, so unless they haul some serious ass over on the dev side of things and secure a ton of licenses we haven’t seen yet, I don’t see this happening.
70 cars at launch isn’t a very sizeable list either for the folks who like free play. Maybe for a career like in Race Driver Grid it works fine, but… yeah. I just have a nagging feeling they’re going to oversell and underdeliver here.
Even in those pretty filled out car classes like N-GT we have yet to see the “protagonists” in them as well, like the 360 GTC, F430, 996/997 RSR etc.
If they can bring over the livery editor from PC3 I would be happy. I'm hoping at least in career mode with the sponsorships it will allow some type of variationI saw a difficulty slider, which was great in PC cars. Could dial on the AI jusssst right.

I was quite late to the PS5/GT7 game, never had a PS4 and bought my PS3 back in 2010. I'm still mad I didn't grab PC2 before it was taken off the store. I have it on PC and Xbox One but my PC isn't really good and I don't have a Xbox-compatible wheel, so can't play it reallyPC2 for us console players only had GT1 cars
Agreed, even though I have PCVR just in case..lolThe second psvr2 support is implemented this is an easy buy!
