Sufferes
I recently found a new Online Racing game called Project Torque. It's kinda like Need For Speed, in that you can customise your car with bodykits, engine, trans, suspension upgrades, etc. But it also has 'simulation mode' where i guess it uses more realistic physics settings. There are racing, drifting, capture the flag, buggy, stock car racing and explore modes, plus more I have yet to unlock. Yes, it is pretty much an MMO, where you level up by getting experience through races and license tests. It is free to download and play, and you can access 95% of the content without paying money if you want, but the only thing you cannot buy with accumulated points are the licensed cars. You can also pay to buy the other cars and upgrades, it would be quicker too. I haven't bought anything with money and haven't even upgraded my car yet, and I can already hold my own in my car's class (Class 1...:guilty:)

The website is http://project-torque.aeriagames.com/

I'm pretty sure that someone else, made a thread about this long ago, maybe even me. I havent played in ages though.

I'm downloading it right now, i just came here to see if there was a thread on it. It looks cool. I discovered after trying their other free mmorpgs, Last Chaos and Shaiya, both are great for being free.

I'm on a slow connection so i wont be playing till Monday.

Paying for licensed cars makes sense. The fame is free licenses are not.
