Prologue sales over the continents: Europe is leading!

As I just found out here but as per june 2008, these are the sales figures for Prologue that PD report on its website:

1450 Europe
0610 USA
0270 Japan
0040 SE Asia

Amazing, isn't it, that apparently we in Europe buy more of their games than all other continents together? :)
Even for the full GT4 version the situation wasn't different.

Wonder if those 1450 for Europe include my copy (and DK's, and Chad's, and Vaxen's)? :)
 
They sell more here than they do in japan so why do they realese it in japan before they do in the EU.
 
I dont think this surprises anyone after all , we europeans are petrol-heads.......
 
Those are the four main subsidiaries of Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. (SCEI).

Europe (or SCEE) includes UK, Oceania, The Middle East and Africa. Still impressive sales figures! :)
 
So wheres jamaica in this? C'mon am i the only jamaican with GT5P?

Not too surprising as the US has got a population of around 305 million (http://www.census.gov/main/www/popclock.html), whereas just the EU has a little over 500 million (http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/pl...REREL_YEAR_2008_MONTH_12/3-15122008-EN-AP.PDF).

Still, thats not even twice as much, but the sales in EU is almost 2.5 times the number of sales in the US.

So if over half of the copy's are sold in Europe, why do we get London :yuck: as the only European circuit in Prologue if we have circuits like Spa and the ring :grumpy:.
They could at least have done us a favour and given us one of these 2 tracks.

Well, if we add geographical Europe: Turkey (some of), Switzerland, Norway, Russia (some of) etc. I think we can add 150 million more....

Yes, it would be nice to get some of the great European tracks in like Spa, Istanbul, Silverstone etc. Mind you I also like Laguna Seca but now this is turning into a wish list... sorry :-)

Maybe it's a good thing PD wont hire me because I would PUSH BACK the development by few months! :D
So I will just become a PROLOGUE TESTER as ALL of us and post our GLITCHES and what to fix/ add here :-P
 
Australia/New Zealand sales is also included the Europe total.
