Prolouge Demo features Mclaren F1?

Click the link then click the shaded box right under the last set of pics. It will bring up another small window that ( i presume)features the cars in the prolouge. Scroll down to BMW and it has Japanese text then it has F1 GTR FINA iLong Version).
so does the prolouge really have the Mclaren F1 GTR Fina longtail version?

It was in GTP's leaflet in the car list, I would presume they haven't shown a pic of it cos the licence isn't 100% secure yet, maybe they are worried it might go the same way as the Diablo GT in GT3.

i do belive the long tails arent as quick as the gt one. when the clk-gtrs came out, they ate up the longtail pretty good, and the gt ones are faster than the clk-gtrs

but still it would be great against the gt500 machines
or gt500 machines vs it

umm.....where the heck have you been budy....the McLaren F1 is powered by a BMW engine, BMW practically built the car!

Ummm, no they didn't, BMW provided the engine, the F1 was built by McLaren at the McLaren factory in england, BMW run that racing team and a few others but not all.

You mean BMW run McLaren-Mercedes? That'd be a turn up...

McLaren also had a hand in the recent/upcoming (depending on who you believe) Mercedes Vision SLR.

Anyway, there's a picture bumming around somewhere of the 50 cars in GT4P, and the McLaren F1 GTR isn't on there. Sorry.

No BMW run/ran the F1 GT race teams. And yep the SLR is called the McLaren Mercedes SLR, yet it doesn't have any McLaren logo's of names on it anywhere. And just cos of that pic, it doesn't mean the F1 isn't in GTP, it might well not make it but there ase other cars in the list that arn't on that pic.

Indeed. And vice versa, I might add. Anyone remember the CLK-GTR from GT2? I've got 5 pictures of it from in-game shots. Did it make the game? That'll be a big, fat "NO!" then...

Most assumptions are for a simultaneous worldwide release - precisely to combat this situation. I'm lead to believe that Yamauchi-chan was personally hurt by suggestions they didn't care about European gamers, after the seriously abridged GT3 PAL disc (2 F1s instead of 6, no Diablo, no Stratos, no other Stratos, no Porsche), and doesn't want the same thing to happen again.

oooooooooooooooooh is that the new legacy wagon i see in there?!?! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I read a comparo in top gear bbc between one of those and an audi RS4 (hot!) and apparently it stomped the audi's lap times.

Yep, I counted again, it's 44 cars. There are 9 in the first 4 rows, and 8 in the last. 9x4=36, 36+8=44. Am I missing some? There is a few screen shots that have the tops chopped off. I'm guessing here, there are six screen shots, right? Is there more below? Remember Famine, I'm not on a PC.

Sorry - I thought you meant there were 44 cars on the car LIST published (allegedly) by PD, not on the car photo published by PD...

Ducati - Possibly. But I remember the GT2/CLK-GTR debacle... The only thing you can trust is what appears on the disc...

Oops, my mistake. I did say "list" instead of pic, didn't I. Sorry. But the link I provided did have the pic I meant, though.
