The big reason for me is because there arent any stats to keep track of, no real reason to play online. You cant even start a race knowing who you're gonna be racing with, so you wait for 2 minutes while it searches and then end up with a 3 car race. No damage? No problem! Sadly i remember playing a certain nintendo game called Days of Thunder and IT had damage while being one of the crappiest racing games ever made. I really dont play online anymore, whats the point? This game should have been a FREE download

lol...when your thread title contains 3 errors I guess I shouldn't expect coherent arguments for why GT5 prologue wasn't worth 40 bucks. In regard to to car damage and online you should perhaps do some searching around the site to be a little better informed before making sweeping statements.

Wow! that's to bad for ya.

I sure think it's worth the $40. no doubt got my moneys worth. In fact I finally broke down and got a $1000 little 32' Sony Brava widescreen just for GT5P.... talk about bringing the game life.

Online is a blast!

They have online recorded stat times with time trial.
