We watched a video today of last year's prom night( don't know if that's the right work but I mean the big night at the end of high school.) and it will be my turn to do it this year. I'll probably rent a nice car, maybe a Porsche or a Ferrari and I'll wear a Pimpish tuxedo with a nice hat and all.

What did you do during your prom night or things that happened that deserves to be mentioned?

Ripped my bow tie off and then posed for an officialy photo. :D

Don't think that impressed the date but meh sod it, i had a laugh!
:)

You had prom night in the UK.

I spent my last day in a park with everyone some alchohol and cigars stuffed out with my finest herbs.

GT masta if you have a special lady you should invest in some glow in the dark magic stick wrappers.

:dopey:  yeah when you see it that way it can bring other thoughts

A jillion years ago when I went to prom, I spent the better part of the morning detailing my mother's Mercedes for the occasion. I had that car "standing tall"!!

She rented me a chauffered 1966 Rolls Silver Shadow for the event. It drove us to dinner at a very nice restaurant in the village of Carmel, CA. Then delivered us to the prom at the Officer's Club on Fort Ord.

I did get to drive the Benzie home though.

Hmm.. Grad 2006!
I'm on something called Grad Council, and we get to plan the grad for this year. It's gonna be kick-ass.
Door prizes of:
- A trip to Hawaii
- A years tuition at a post-secondary institution
- A used car.
Plus, the grad/party and so-on. Grad ceremony, Dinner/dance 'till 11:30PM, then go via coach to UVic about a half hour away for an all-night party at facility built for parties! Dry grad, but oh well.

My prom night me and my girlfriend just chilled at my house till the after parties, I save a good 400 bucks by doing that.

I just had my formal night (which is what we call it here in Aus). Most of us dressed in Black My mates Arrived in a Black Merc stretch S - Class, Followed by me in my brothers Black Nissan 180sx Type X and a Black BMW Series 7. In front of all this we had 2 Harleys as well it was a pretty dam good entrance compared to the rest of my year. Might as well do something special since it is the last night you will probably see most people as well.

Haven't had prom night yet, and if I have it my way, i won't go to it either...
I'd love to get an AE86 Corolla and go drifting around the place where the prom will be to scare the hell out of everyone.

Why wouldn't you go? It's a one time in a life event! You don't have a girl? Then buy a AE86 ,bring it to school, impress the girls, pick one.

Lo!

Uhh....dinner, limo....the usual around here. Then me & my g/f chillaxed over at a friends house and watched movies all night...

And that's about it.

The thing about Prom is that it sucks. Nobody ever tells you that but it's true. Now, that doesn't mean you're not going to have a good time, or that it isn't worth going. It's just that it's going to be quite similar to every other high school dance you've ever been to... maybe with a good roasting if you do wills and prophecies.

I'd suggest that you do a suit rather than a tux. And don't worry about the transportation too much. No need to blow too much cash.

If you have any luck, like I did, your date will look fantastic. You'll have a good time with her, and the evening will get started when you leave the dance. The most important thing about prom is to go to the parties afterward.

Thats whats missing in england. The parties afterwards. Our houses here are to small to hold propper parties :indiff:

My school had a dance 12 days after graduation at an expensive hotel in Downtown Dallas.

It was cool. NO tux here, went with 4 friends, had a good time. And though were tons of limos and nice luxury cars, I think my bud's 944 Turbo S was the star of the show...next to my car of course.

What car do you drive?

I'm gonna see if I can rent an original Mini and wear some mc hammer-esque parachute pants with the tuxedo for the occasion.

Big pimpin', little wheels, right? I just might go this year, but I've heard it sucks. Take the Biscayne, maybe wear a pinstripe suit? I don't know. It's too far in the future.

I'm medium pimping.
