PS2 controler to Logitec sender

I have a PlayStation G w/less controller [Fanatec SLEH-00062 ] & have lost the sender . Can I use a Logitec sender as they are both 2.4gh .💡
I have tried pressing the button on the sender but no joy yet .
Is there a special way to make it work ?
