PS2 Online (i tried search but no answer)

I just have to ask this Question about PS2 online.


I dont want any fan boy answer just a plain,simple yes or no.

Ok im tried of all the mixed answers on this Question,

Is Ps2 online Free or do you have to pay( i know you have to for some games).

Im trying to get smart answers from you people cause im getting a Modem next week sometime.

You answered your own question.

Since Sony never set up a universal interface like XBOX Live for the PS2, playing online is just like playing on a PC online. Whether or not you have to pay to play depends on the game.

Incidentally, that also means that whether or not you can even play online anymore depends on the game. Some developers/publishers have already shut down their servers -- one example I know of is Capcom's Auto Modellista, which shut down in March of this year.
