Ps2 Scph-50000

I don't know if this is the right forum, but I heard that a new version of the PS2 is coming out called the SCPH-50000. If so, will gran turismo 4 be compatible with the older version? I wish there was some more info about this new model.

Why would you say that...

That's like saying "oh damn GT4 only supports new versions of PS2, I have to buy a new one now!" Only Microsoft will do something this heartless.

The new model has progressive scan support (better pictures) and 30% quietier. Mod-chipping it is like the previous versions - hard as hell. That's about it.

I have never heard of this..... But a PS2 is a PS2.. Thats what I think.

NO I-Link (s400) in the new PS2's.....

so PS2 isnt PS2.......for I-Link Battles in the Future.
