well, i received my Logitech Driving Force Steering Wheel today, and hooked it up, and i am quite dissapointed...
i really love the way the wheel performs, but the cord is too short to reach to where i normally play from....and i think that this wheel will end up in a closet collecting dust, so i have decided to sell it on ebay.....if anyone is interested in buying it, here is a link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1374864857&ssPageName=ADME:B:LC:US:1
the reserve is set at 41 dollars

LOL, the old turn around trick! ;)

I actually like my Logitech WingMan Formula Force Wheel (red grips).

Works on the PS2 and the PC, since it has a USB port, which the PS2 does have.

Definitely worth keeping to me, since it works well with GT3, and will work on GPL when I get a PC that can play it.

Also did not like the two hours i spent with the Logitech sterering wheel. I was able to hook it to a table so there I am in front of the big screen balancing the sterering wheel while trying to do the gas and brake....Hand me the controller please

i have just recently bought the df wheel and sure its a lot harder to get used to it than it was to drive with the dualshock
i must say that ive already beat the game using the controler and i probably wont ever be able to win some of the races with the wheel BUT theres nothing like driving with the wheel :) :) :)
i suggest everybody who has a wheel or is thinking of buying one to begin by using it with relatively low hp cars (under 400hp) and if needed with tcs and asm on
you ll find that in a short time you ll be able to turn of the aids and begin driving more powerful cars
im already able - and i just got the wheel bout a week ago - to win races in pro mod with stock cars and it also helped me to beat the golds in rally in gtc
of coures after a race you may feel a little tired and will never consider doing an entire series with the wheel in one afternoon... :(
and you also cant lie on your back in your sofa and at the same time drive an F1 car at 360 km/h with just your tumbs :D :D

But again theres nothing quiet like going for a spin in - say your NSX type R in Trial Mountain - no tcs or asm and holding the wheel with just one hand while you smoke a cig or smth else and drift along

you should've bought the Wingman Formula Force (red ones) like Ferrari 308.... then you could have as much fun as I have rallying through Tahiti Maze  .

Tahiti Maze is great with the wheel... I'd highly recommend that any Wheel owner try the rally tracks first, to get used to it. Then racing on tarmac becomes much easier :).

i got a microsoft sidewainder for pc that has usb would it work on playstation. On pc it needs a program installed but thats only for like force settings.. i want to try but will it mess up playstation or my steering wheel.
