Ok ok... I know this is kind of a repeat thread but I've gone through so many similar ones here and on google. I'm hoping this is ok because I have specific questions to a certain product...

Just in case because it may or may not be already known... I'd recommend staying away from USB 2.0 TV Tuner Cards. It was no better than my old USB 1.0 Pinnicle TV Tuner.

Now here is what I'm currently eyeing...

I'd like to see what people have to say about this that might actually have one because I want to make sure this stuff actually works this time. So...

1. Is it choppy while playing??

2. Can this really be used on a laptop screen?? It says...

The VGA Box can also be connected to a laptop for portable gaming...

But I no mention how it actually does this or show it.

Edit: What do you guys think of something like this too??

Am I wasting my time with anything USB 2.0 because I will be using a PCMCIA USB 2.0 card?

Thank you for your help!

Nick :D:tup:

As long as your laptop has a VGA input port, it will work.

Those VGA adapters are hit and miss. Try to find a review on one before buying one. Plus, the quality will only be good as your source input. If you only have RCA, it will still look like crap.

I personally would go for the USB tuner. The quality is not HD stuff, but it's good enough for capturing replays and screenshots.

Viper Zero
I've seen them. They seem common, especially in Dells.

Tru, but aren't they Video-Out?

Also, I just bought the ATI TV Wonder Pro, and it has a nice 1sec long delay...i thnk it's ATI's software, so *might* wanna find some reviews on their USB model...As for the USB hook-up...i have seen those also, but i am skeptical, I also recommend finding a review first.
