I just bought this version brand new and it seems to have some problems running Gran Turismo games, anyone know what it could be? It doesnt run GT3 or GT Concept but runs other games fine. I cant get back to the place i got it from anytime soon as i got it from another city. Help is appreciated.

P.S. it runs GT & Concept up to the copyright screen (the drive safely and wear seatbelt screen) but the intro does not come on either of them.
 
I have the same problem with my Drift Champ game, on my modded PS2 and I know the disc isn't scratched, because the game is brand new.
 
Some games checks if the PS2 is modded, and won't run.
Same with GT4, which wont go online if your PS2 is modded.
(This is just stuff I've heard, so don't flame me if it turns out to be total bollocks) :)
