ps2 video capture

does anyone know how to capture ps2 video onto my DV camera

i have a firewire cable
my camera has a firewire port
and i have a laptop with a firewire port..

can somebody please tell me how to do this?
i'm tryin to record my replay files and stuff onto my computer

The PS2 video signal does not leave by the firewire port. It leaves by the cable you plug into your TV. You need to connect the video of the PS2 to the camera or get a TV capture card for your PC.

can i plug the ps2 into my TV using the red/white/yellow, then from my tv, use a S video cable and connect that to my camcorder?
