Can you please recommend some PS3 racing games that you can go through game progress while playing in split screen. Cars, Bikes, Sim, Arcade.. not important.

Not many games let you progress the career in split screen, last game I remember being to do that was Rumble Racing on PS2.
However some great split screen racing games for PS3 are.
Blur
motorstorm pacific rift and apocalypse
DiRT 3 and DiRT showdown
mod nation racers
Gran Turismo 5 & 6
Grid, Grid 2 and Grid autosport
Sega Rally
split/second
some NFS games, carbon I think.
Thats a few I can think of, its a shame online multiplayer really took over because its always more fun playing split screen games in the same room as your mates.

Thank you mate for answering, I lately got most of them(games from your list). SS is just more fun for me than online multiplayer. Maybe because I grew up with games like that. None of the games give you to go through career in SS though 
btw I wouldn't put GT games in here. Not that great SS since it's a serious game and you need focus and in my case a wheel to be fast. Arcadish stuff like Grid is better for SS so you can relax and have fun..
