PS3 Died

Hey guys,

Was playing gran turismo last night when my PS3 started to freeze and the game would not load, so I quit the game, backed my saves up and took the game out.

I went to restart the console (turn off then turn off at the back) and when it turned back on the light went yellow :(

Worst of all, I forgot my PSN log in (had on auto log in).

I'm not going to be getting a new PS3 until later today (2pm GMT).
 
Another 60 gig bites the dust, sorry to hear that.

You could try heating the mobo up with a hairdryer or something, just enough to get it working for half an hour so you can remove everything you want and de-activate PSN accounts etc.

I managed to get that done last night.
 
Mine is still going(got it in '07) after I replaced the thermal paste to reduce the fan noise. Though I'm sorry to hear that you lost aPS3.
