great steering wheel support on ps3 so yes you have it all with the ps3 version. and people coming from gt5 complaining about graphics. gt is a mature platform having had numerous upgrades. give the f1 platform some time.

xbox not many wheels available. the wheel is how you interact with the game. so big minus for that.

pc version. go to some of the race sites people are hacking the hell out of the f1 2011. definitely some cheating going on. no thanks

So I am thankful for my ps3 version. I have the right platform

go to time trial leader boards people are posting 15 second lap times. This aint from a ps3 for sure someone has hacked a pc version. again no thanks. I am not the best driver for sure. but im not faking the walk either.

Personally, I think there are some serious issues with the game.

Really buggy. Graphic and FPS issues on the PS3, set up bugs, timing bugs, racing bugs, co-op bugs, etc.

I saw someone post something on CM's forums accusing them of using testers from the Lighthouse of the Blind (a company that provides work opportunities for blind people)...total madness and anger over there.

I hope they can fix most of the issues with the next patch. :)

I have to say, I've been playing F1 2010 for quite a while and when 2011 came out, my friend bought it to see why I was so hooked on the 2010 version. After he played it, he said it was very easy so I watched him play as I found the 2010 a bit challenging. I found the rules were very, very slack and not realistic at all. Every race, my friend generally just charges into T1 and hopes for the best, sometimes he gets a time penalty and he just restarts the race, but the majority of the time nothing. And the rules are turned on realistic. Also I found in the 2011 you cannot total your car compared to the 2010 version. After seeing my friend race, I decided to stick with the 2010.

It's up to you whether or not you want to play the game in a realistic and challenging way. It's not F1 2011's fault when people can't deal with the fact that they have the option of restarts, smashing into P1 in the first couple of corners, or being able to cut corners without a penalty.

"This game's no fun, I can just cheat and make it easier...".
I don't understand this kind of statement at all.

I know what you mean, he was fooling around, but I gave the 2011 a try as well, I played it sensibly as I do in the 2010, but I found the 2011 a lot less realistic in sense of rules and found it significantly easier even though I was playing both on hard difficulty. I found I could cut corners a lot more compared to the 2010 one, when it would invalidate or give me a penalty. I also found the car damage in 2010 a lot more impressive.

I think the 2010 penalty system is too aggressive at times though. And again, no one is forcing you to cut corners in 2011 just because you can get away with it. Most of the time when you are trying to have a simulation experience with a game it will require a level of discipline on the player's part as well.

Even the AI is cutting the first chicane at Monza, for example - yet, only if it's necessary to avoid collisions etc. :D

PC version is the best version, better everything.

I'm about to find out. Should be getting it for PC today.
