Here is a list of games that Gamestop has put on their site for Pre-order at $59.99 for the release on 10/1/06

Being an employee of gamestop I'll tell you this right now. It's merely our corporate agenda to capitalize off of all the customers who come in wanting to purchase a 360 but still have trouble finding one.

They've told us to suggest reserving games for either system in place of a 360 itself (provided we dont' have any).

Reserve if you want, however, I'd say maybe 8-10 of those titles will be available for launch, the others you'll just be tossing your money away for god knows how long until they release.

Yeh i must say that when i saw this i was scepticle. Why oh Why companies feel the need to fule rumores is beyond me. also for more roumors check out these suposidly PS3 interface screens.

Even though most of those games probably won't be available at launch you can already see PS3 has some awesome games to deliver. From that list I am looking forward to see Vision GT of course, Killzone 2, DMC4, Tekken, MGS4, MotorStorm and I-8. 👍
 
I know that Vision Gran Turismo may only be a vision, but this does lean a scouche in the direction of something GT for us by Christmas. Sony, beatly company that it is, knows that the hunger for a next gen racer on their new uber system is ravenous, and I have a feeling that they'll give us something to spend money on.

I still think that Vision GT had most of its work done before GT4 was released, and there's some rumblings that this is the case. Maybe that work is reserved for GT5 itself. We'll certainly see in a few months.
 
I know, that is discouraging. Then again, Sony hasn't been saying anything of substance yet. We'll have a clearer picture of what the PS3 launch is going to be like, and release times for it, the games and peripherals soon. Maybe not till the E3 Expo, but that's not a horrible distance off.

By the way, I'm curious if Sony is serious with that GUI screen. Will we actually be able to email God?! :D
 
Well I'm not discouraged, but the only thing I'd like is a release date. I dont really care if it comes out at the end of the year because I will not be able to afford it. I just want to know when its gonna come out, I just cant wait to see it :)

Same here. As for the GUI shots im sure they arnt real but you never know, hopefully Vision GT will be a launch games, maybe a prologue type of a game or just GT4 with HDR and more cars on track.

Correction. This is not a scam. This is a tentative date that is not guaranteed. Once the PS3 has a solid release date, the dominoes will fall into place.
 
lol what if all the sudden playstation says were not gonna release a ps3 (which yes i know they wont) what happens to your money ?__?
 
this seems to suggest that the PS3 is going to be out sooner because if you think of it, the price og tjhe games has been releacded (basically due to this website) and so ahs the price about the PS3 is slef! anyone agree?
