So I am trying to figure out how to view my messages on my PS3 from work on the Computer. Could someone explain how to do this please???

I really don't know if its possible to do so. the Playstation website only allows you to view who is online.

Also, this is in the wrong section.

How is this in the wrong section??? Its a question and i needed an answer.

Point a web cam at your TV to see what your PS3 is up to while you are not there. Cheap and effective.

There is a way to do remote access t o your PS3 with a PSP, but it doesn't work with GT5 (or, seemingly, any other game) Not so cheap, also not effective. (might work in future?)

Another option would be KVM over IP. Could be pricey and a little challenging to set up.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

I don't know of any other way of remotely extracting error messages from your PS3 system. I've been wrong before today

The remote race function in GT5 uses PD/Sony servers to talk to your PS3 - you can talk to these servers from your work computer through your browser. If you try to get between your PS3 and the Sony servers, they will come down on you with the hammer of god. (perceived as hacking)

edit:
Are you trying to read your mail/message board from the community tab in GT5?
Try this web site http://www.gran-turismo.com/
You log on using the email address you used to create your PSN account and your PSN password.
Message board and mail are under the 'community' tab (go figure)

Sorry - I thought you were trying to do something else.

thats ok, what i am trying to do is see how to get my messages that my friends send me on PS3 while i am at work. I turn my tv off before i go to work so a webcam is no good for me

Tell him to send messages to your works email?

Or get a PSP and access your PS3 using remote play.

Anyway, this is not GT5 related, so...
