PS3 not connecting to internet? HELP PLEASE THANKS FOR HELP NOT!!!

i am using and adsl netgear router and have entred all the deatails correctly and it will still not connect, its the same settigns as i have been using latley and has just stopped working, i logged into the router and turned off the wep key but it still wont work any help on how i can get it to connect so i can access the psn network?

By "details" do you mean setting the DMZ on your router and hard-coding the IP of the PS3, etc?

All the WEP key will do is not allow the PS3 to access your network. Is it making it that far? You'd be able to find that out by going into your network settings on the XMB, do a test and see if it has an internet connection. If it does, that's half the problem solved. If not, it's likely a network security issue.

i reset the router it then signed me into psn then i went to load GT5 then logged me out again now it ownt let me reconnect and it is failing to obtain the IP address
