It's taken a while,but them pesky hackers may have cracked the ps3.
If it works there is nothing Sony can do as it is all to with hardware, a new firmware update won't fix this, not without rendering all ps3's unusable as a new security code would prevent all existing games from working.
If this is legitimate, I would expect ps4 to be announced pretty quickly.
