PS3 on the way. Need HDTV suggestions.

My PS3 is on the way. I figured I might as well get an HDTV as well. I'm looking for one under $350, and since I seem to be out of the loop when it comes to these matters, I was wondering if you guys had any ideas or suggestions; such as brands to avoid, models to avoid and the like. I know a few things, but not enough that I am willing to spend money without guidance. For example, I was looking this one, and maybe this one. Any comments?

you're going to have a hard time finding something nice with that budget. are you looking for a LCD or a CRT?

Again, being resident Vizio fanboy, if you have a Sam's or Costco, go for the 22" VO22L. If not but you have a Sears, my next choice would be the 20" VXW20L.

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 226BW, which is an LCD computer monitor because I needed a new one at the time, but you can use it with a PS3 as well. Unless you're an über AV nut you probably won't care that's not full 1080p (as in its 1680x1050 instead of 1920x1080) it stretches 1080p vertically slightly (wrong aspect ratio) and crops the sides of 720p a little, because its cheaper than and HDTV and multifunctional too... So if you need an HDTV AND a computer monitor, which isn't massively likely, it's an almost perfect solution.

Then again I am comparing UK prices here, I'm pretty sure HD has been around longer in the US so HDTV sets are probably cheaper. The cheapest branded 1080p HDTV here is like over £400, 500... That's getting on for $1000
