I'm selling my PS3 in an effort to get enough extra $$ for a PS4. I have a few decent games on disc, but mostly I have games downloaded from the PS store. Probably spent $300-$400 there. All of them are PS3 games which I will have no use for after it's gone. So-my question is can I let them go with my system? I DO NOT want to lose my PSN ID. I thought of that first, just setting up a new email associated with my ID and then they'd have access to that account and I could erase all personal info from there - but I'd lose my username, which is the only thing I want to keep. I could delete all my personal info off my profile, make sure no cc info is on there and just let them set up their own account and use it like that. But I'm not sure how safe that is. It feels wrong to let those games go to waste. I assume there's no switching PSN names to a different account? I have a secondary account I could do that with, but it's not possible as far as I can tell. Just looking for thoughts or ideas on this. Thanks in advance!

PSN games are locked to the PS account as far as I know.

If you want to sell them with the system you would almost have to give your PSN to them too.

Until Sony ever figures out how to retroactive games it's pretty much a lost cause.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought. I was looking at it again and I realized almost half of my games were bought using an account I don't use anymore. The reason I did that was because I used to live right beside the American border(I'm Canadian) and games were significantly cheaper even though our dollar was at par (at the time). I had an American bank account, so I made an American PS3 account and bought my games that way. So I can probably set up a different email for that account, give the email/password to them, and they can have those games at least. Something like that anyway

If it's something that isn't used and as long as all the bank stuff and other things are off of there I think you should be good.
