Has anyone here done it and if so run into any issues?
My boss dropped of his 60GB PS3 last week at work and he asked if it could be fixed.
Told him that it had the YLOD which means a overheat/hardware issue and I may be able to fix it
I did the reflow which you see on youtube and it worked.
It booted up to the XMB so I shut it down.
Told him first thing you should do is a backup since I cant guarantee it will last.
Today he brought it back.
Blue and green lights come on but fan does not spin, not even with the fan test method.
Has anyone else had a similar issue?
