I bought a PS3 used recently and it was damaged in transit. The metal piece around the side of the console has been bent upwards and inwards, which also broke the glossy plastic on top.
I want to try and repair it. I have an idea to take off the top panel and use pliers to bend the metal back into shape, then use glue to fix the glossy plastic. Do any of you have suggestions, and is my idea workable?
