PS3 shuts down during Tsukuba 9hr

Hi guys.

I've tried 2 times to let my bobs race the Tsukuba 9hr race but every time my PS3 shuts down.
After ~ 2 hours I checked if everything was alright and then left the house.
Came back 4 hours later and my PS3 was turned off.

I don't think it's overheating because I've let my bobs grind other races for 10-12 hours at times and it never shut down.

Is this a bug?
 
I think there's a setting where it turns off if you don't do anything in a certain amount of time. Have you checked in PS3 settings?
