PS3 - Sony Viao - HDMI

Guys please help.

I have a PS3, i have a HDMI cable and I have a laptop with HDMI (a sony Vaio)

Do any of you know if it possible to play the PS3 through the Laptop Screen?

Being dragged to mother inlaws and want Bob to be racing in the 24hr races while i get bored by the inlaws..

Please Help!!

Unfortunately you cannot output your PS3 to your laptop screen, the HDMI port on your laptop is an output port only
