As the title says, my PS3 stopped reading PS2 games.
It all started a 4 days ago with Gran Turismo 4,I played it twice, then when I was going to play it for the third time the screen was all black, usually the "Playstation2" logo comes after 3-5 seconds. It didn't. I've tried every day since to get it to play.
Then I started playing GTA San Andreas. I was playing it today for about two and a half hours as much. I quit the game and I believe I shut down the PS3, then, half an hour ago I tried getting GTA to work and it didn't. I tried five times, I had to shut down the console every time because it didn't leave me any other option. Then I thought "This is really awkward..". I get God of War II from my PS2 game pile and put it in my PS3.. The worst happened.. It didn't play either. I was devastated. I tried other games too, like, 007:NightFire(
) and SOCOM. None worked. Then I remembered that PS2 games are DVDs. I checked to see if any DVDs of mine worked on the console and they actually did.
The other weird thing is that my PS3 games work.
