Sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I need to make a decission whether or not to buy a stand alone TV/ monitor for the GT5

Problem: I am thinking of moving the PS3 upstairs where there is more room for my obutto cockipt. The Wifi modem - router is downstairs. How do u think would the performance reduce.

Could anyone point me to any such thread reagrds the same.

Not sure about the range issue. You can also try the Computers & Electronics forum, as well as using the "Advanced Search" option up at the top right of your screen. Good luck.
 
I think you should just try it yourself by taking ps3 up and test.
Wifi signal quality depends on so many factors (your house, wifi access point), that it's impossible to estimate performance.
