Bought the original 60MB PS3 (backwards compatible with PS1 & PS2 games etc).
After many years gaming, the disc drive packed up so sent it off to the "Console Repair Man". £115 later they sent it back "fixed" but nothing worked & I now had the Yellow Light Of Death (YLOD).
👎
Sent it back, they tried & failed to fix it, so got a refund of £85 quid.
(So basically I paid them around £30 to (allegedly) replace my Fan, re-solder dried out joints & generally vacuum / dust off the inside of my PS3.)
I now have a useless PS3 shaped thing which I can only use as a paperweight or doorstop.
Bought myself a new Slim 320GB model & am filling it up with all my GT5 gamesaves & replay info etc...
LOL (But I cannot play PS1/PS2 stuff on it.)
But my question is how can I "copy" any of the stuff from my old Machines hard drive, if it doesn't actually work ?
Any help much appreciated, as some of those Game saves took a lot of time & effort. 👍
