Hi there,

Just red a tweet from Driveclub producer Paul Rustchynsky saying they are working with Thrustmaster to make DC compatible with their wheels...

And that they are more than willing to make it compatible with every other wheel brand...

Still, no official statement from FANATEC and Logitech just gives the usual "no comment on future developments"...

So, I was wondering if some people here could pull some strings to know more about what Fanatec and Logitech have planned for PS4.

Really looks like the console is very open and that it's only a matter of will from wheel makers...

Maybe some tweets to fanatec and logitech (I know logitech is very reactive on their twitter)...or some posts on Fanatec official forum?

Let's sort it out. We paid a lot for our wheels, PS4 is out for a while now: we should know already.

You make it sound like it is something they promised but didn't do. You knew what you were buying.
As everything is still open, I don't think there is any rush in that matter. pCars and DriveClub are the only games for PS4 thus far that should be played with the wheel and even those are about 5 months away.
It doesn't matter how long PS4 has been on the market. PS4 doesn't support wheels, games do. As long as there are no games, there's no need to know about wheel support.

bumer-> I just find it annoying that they would not keep their costumers informed if their hardware will be supported or not.
This is customer information. No more.

Never said they lied or anything like that. What are you smoking ?

I didn't say that you said they were lying. I only referred that it sounds like, it is something that was to be expected by saying that you paid a lot for your wheel but has not been turned out this way thus far.

Go send Fanatec a letter asking whether DriveClub is supported. You can also ask from DriveClub developers whether they are working together with Fanatec or not.

It is not like it used to be. There is no such thing anymore that there will be a wheel that works with every PS4 game that may come out in the future. Fanatec or Logitech have to work together with every single game developer they want their wheels to work with as far as I know. So there is no definite answer, you'll need to ask about every game separately.

This is the biggest thing holding me back from purchasing a PS4 along with upgrading my current fanatec setup. I would rather Sony and game developers say we will or will not support certain wheels right from the get go.

As a consumer with these devices life would be a whole lot more absolute for all of us if we were given a definitive answer versus being left in limbo. Saying that I have been wanting to upgrade my home setup, but have held back due to no concrete answers from any company about what they will and will not support.
