Did a brief search and couldn't find a general discussion thread so decided to make a new post.
The other night we had a storm off to the east but we were close enough to get some lightning. I was in the middle of playing GT Sport when I heard a loud boom that shook my apartment. A couple seconds later my internet disconnected or reset. I was able to get my PC up and running and it has been fine, but the PS4 was requiring restarts just to get a connection. Now it won't connect at all. Already changed out the ethernet cables with no luck.
Could the modem have settings reset by itself from the lightning strike so maybe a firewall is blocking the Playstation? Should I be worried that the console is the issue?
Edit: Moved a couple cables around and got the modem to flash for a brief second. Moved it back and it's working now. If I have issues again, will report back.
