PSA - don't try to gold licenses and missions as all the dirt ones are bugged

I had been banging my head against a wall with a couple of tests. Then I saw someone on here noticed their tires were comfort tires, not dirt. Bronze seems to be entirely possible with all of these (at least the ones I've done) but gold may be impossible for some tests. I tried missions and they seem to be bugged as well.

Hopefully it helps someone to not try a test for an hour and a half like I did trying to get gold! Just figured I'd make an actual post about it since I haven't seen one yet

There's dozens of complaints about it It was introduced in 1.06, I assume as 1.06 tried to fix a different tyre issue in time trials to do with Dirt tyres.

Yeah, my younger brother angrily texted me yesterday asking how the @#$% I got such a good time on a test. Of course I didn't tell him it was bugged for a while

I was just wondering why anyone would use sport hard tires on gravel (S-5), but this explains it.. so no gold S license for me before next update.

So - i missed dirt tires in S5 AND kers in S7.. damn..

Ok and the S6 shows the worst of gt7 snap oversteer problem..

also note that the mission at spa in the wet, racing in the old f1 cars is also providing me with racing tyres rather than wets (I did check online and previously you are provided with wets). it seems physically possible but spent about an hour trying before realising that the opponents have wet tyres and are cruising comfortably through sections of the track where puddles are unavoidable

I wasn't aware of that one. Very good to know! I'm just going to start being paranoid and check my tires everytime
