I saw the excess of Carbon Fiber in that car, even commented on it above...
 
So you was talking to me when you said "you're at just the right skill for the less experienced faction of GTP"?
 
Under which experience and quality of chop would you consider yourself Jspec? And what's wrong with copious amounts of carbon fibre? I heard it's gonna be huge this year when covering large sections of bodywork
 
First off, there's no s in my name. Second off, I considder myself in the middle. I have some really good chops, and some really bad ones, it evens out...
 
Eventually, it's not a top priority...
 
hey umm yeah this is my first time posting a car i choped here and well its only my 4th attempt at photshop so plz dont bag me for its wierdness :(

i personally think it looks cool but a bit messy, but u pros will prob tell me that its like...wierd:p

o well here tis, i like my blue windows and side skirt the best :p

needs work on the tail and front end.. other than that good job 👍
 
you know what would look really cool.

If someone did a Lancer Evo7 conversion with a Evo8. Make the whole thing Carbon Fiber. That would be sweet. You would Definatly get my vote.

Hmm, I've just got a few things for you. The weave's a little too big for a while-body conversion. Did you use a displacement map? They're immensley helpful.

Can you post the carbon pattern that you used for that please Jpec, it's prob the best carboin effect i've seen, ta
 
Ok, it's one of the ones that comes with photoshop. it's called "Herringbone 2". You can find it under Patterns>Pattern. Then, warp it little bit, distort, desaturate the part of the car you're carbon-fibernating, darken a little, and set the carbon fiber to multiply. After that, merge down (I'd recommend duplicating the part of the car you're cfing and setting that to multiply as well). Then, just flatten the image et voila.

Well go look at this chopped S2000 by Zammo then http://www.photo-chop.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=19&pid=260 . Notice how the CF is not warped, it conforms to the body. Thats what you try and go for when you apply CF. He also has an awesome tutorial about displacement maps somewhere, i'll post it up if i can find it.
 
Damn that s2000 is sweet, the carbon does look real. Good bid Stripes

hmmmmm....... The wheels aren't the enkei wheels that are on it. the emblem in the middle of the grill. There is suposed to be Carbon fiber around the emblem. Same with the mirrors. Other than that. Everything is cool with me.
