Anyone know if you can get money attached to your account on PSN refunded? I'm canceling my internet service today and still have $10 attached to my account, just wondering if I lost it or if there's some way of getting it back.

I don't believe so, a shame when your in a situation where every bit of money matters, I could be wrong but there are no options while using the PS3 to be refunded.

I'm pretty sure like mobile phone credit once its been put in you can't get it back I'm afraid. It says in the PSN terms and conditions that credit cannot be refunded or transferred.

Why don't you buy a few things like DLC or Minis before you shut off your internet. Or you could (but its a grey area) buy content for someone else give it to them (game share) and get cash.

What happened about getting a new place, is this for the effort?

I know it's off topic but if you're having difficulties then I'd like to know how I can help.

Can you not purchase items from My Home and arrange to have them sold through Paypal or something so that you can recoup the credit?

Maybe this is the wrong way to put it but you seem like you need quick buck, and fast.

Let me know if I can do anything to help. I can't do transactions, I couldn't even use my back card for my premo membership!

If you need some advice I can try my best, I'm quite worldly in the grand scheme of things and I'm always on the ball when it comes to opportunities available.

Might as well get yourself something for 10 bucks and get it downloaded before you have the net cut off. I'm almost certain they have a no refund policy, but then again it probably couldn't hurt to call up customer service and see if they can hook you up this one time.

I hate that Sony and Microsoft insist on making you buy set amounts instead of just letting you pay directly with your credit card! Especially since the prices never line up with the amounts they make you prepurchase.

Thanks guys. I just added another $6 to my account since I had 8 in there already and bought the full version of Limbo. 👍

That's the point of it - nobody will probably ever use all credits / points so that the account is back at 0. :/

I use my debit card with my PSN account (before and after the attack :scared:) and it puts a minimum of $5 on the account. So if a buy something that is $2 I'll have $3 left on my account, but if I buy something that is $15 it will use the $3 on my account first and put the rest on my cars, leaving me with $0 in my PSN fund.
