Incase you've never noticed this, everytime PSN wants you to update your PS3 firmware, your actually pulling down EVERY SINGLE update plus the new one. Which means that even for something as simple as the new 3.55 to stop more jailbreaking, your actually downloading every update since the PS3 servers where connected and used first time.
This is why I think that PSN needs to move to service packs. You download the service pack that is most recent (comes with all the updates up till now) and then future updates to an extend come out as incremental files (JUST that one update, now all versions from 1.01 to 3.55).
Anyone else think this arguement / suggestion is worth pushing to Playstation? Im fed up having to sit for ages waiting for updates to DL because my internet is weaker than other areas.
