I know... lots of threads about the outage and the fact that it was a hack. I can't see any posts that refer to the important security notice that Sony just issued.

I figured that I'd rather face the wrath of the community than have someone miss out on this information.

If you use the same (or similar) password/email combo for any other logins then change them. Now.

Sony will NOT ring or email you for further security details. Ever.

Watch your card records for usual transactions.

Just saw this on Joystiq and Kotaku. Already changed all of my passwords. I'll be keeping an eye on my bank account but I think my old card was stored on PSN and not my newer one.
 
If you know about all the other threads, why didn't you post this in one of them? Try to use a little more common sense next time.
