PSone Controller

Hey, I recently picked up a PsOne (second gen PS1)controller from a local thrift store, just in case one of my PS2 ones breaks. Anyways, I tried playing GT4 with it, and I found that I could drift muuuuuch better with the digital controller. (I use the L and R buttons for brake/accel). After pluging in the Dualshock 2, I found that the car tended to sway a lot more and the drifts were a lot harder to control. I was just curious to see if anyone else had tried this and what you reactions/opinions on this are.

Whilst I do use the D-pad exclusively in GT4, I can't use the one on the PS1 controller.

This could have something to do with throttle control available on the DS2 controller, quite often i caught myself out realising i had only half throttle on. I use the DS1 controller also, tapping the throttle for appropriate inputs.
