your kiddin' right?
Any GTPlanet forum member who wants CFW on their PSP, let me know.

You can send it to me and I will put 4.XX M33 CFW on it for free.

I can do phats and slims.

You can also PM me if you have questions on doing it yourself. It isn't hard to do, but I know some people aren't tech savy enough and some are scared of bricking their PSP.

I have done 5(2 slims, 3 phats) PSPs and all have been successful. It's like clock work for me now and I thought I might be able to help some fellow GTP'ers.

I don't need assistance with the firmware install. However, I have installed popsloader 3.80v2. When I get to the screen to select which pops for a game, I select 3.71 and it freezes. any ideas?

Yes, I have extracted and renamed the files as I should.

Upgrade your FW, Pops already installed, No probs with any eboots, Homebrews or emulators.

Wanna give me a new LCD screen and upgrade my cfw to 4.xx and put some apps on? (:
I wanna new screen TT.TT
http://TT.TT its an actual site XD

You can have my old one. Of course it doesn't work but who needs screens? Don't you know your games enough to play them without it? :)👍

I got my new screen on www.modnet.no (Press the british flag top right) They can send it through airmail. But be sure to read the "shipping and returns".

Talking about hacking etc... isn't allowed here, so please stop discussing.

Hacking is fine. Filesharing is not. Just because you're installing custom firmware doesn't mean you're filesharing. You're painting people with a pretty broad brush if you say otherwise. There are HUNDREDS of homebrew applications with completely legitimate and legal uses. I'm a firm believer that filesharing is KILLING the PSP because developers need incentive to develop. They're not getting that when their games are being downloaded.

It is MY electronic device. I paid for, and I don't care what Sony says I can and can't do with it. Plain. And. Simple.

And no one has done any such thing.

And yes, I also see the rule mentioning that a user should cease posting content deemed inappropriate by Jordan or the moderating staff. I have no problem with this rule. Its Jordan's forum, and the moderators enforce the rules by proxy. I have no issue with property rights and will therefore cease when a moderator asks me to.

I've tried doing this, i heard something about opening the battery, so i tried to open it but stuck a knife through the metal (with a bang :scared:) What's the easiest way to do this? I'm on official 5.00

If you have a Slim that is newer than about 5 months old and came out of the box with offical fw 4.01, then your PSP is likely unhackable. Newer protections in the motherboard do not allow the PSP to be booted into service mode via Pandora. Same with the PSP 3000.

It doesn't matter what your current firmware is as long as the motherboard can be booted into service mode.

With that out of the way, the easiest thing would be for you to buy a Pandora from www.dealextreme.com or some such place. It comes from Hong Kong so it shouldn't take too long to get to Australia.

I see a LOT of people try to hard mod a regular battery into a Pandora. This is actually quite dangerous. Li-On batteries can shorted out or heated up and they will explode with tremendous force when this is done. Is that worth saving $6? Then you'll have to buy a new Sony battery AND a Pandora.

Though to be fair, as long as your careful it isn't that hard (I hard modded the battery in my Daxter Pack PSP, then hard modded it back into a normal battery), so if you have no alternative just make sure you find a good tutorial with nice large pictures.

OK, my bad.

I'm not judging anyone, I myself have a hacked PSP... And I've hacked a few of my friends PSPs for them. I just use it for the homebrew and some of the applications such as the Youtube viewer and such...
