Psp data not uploading to gt5

Well for whatever reason. When i go to options and click on the option to upload GT psp data. it says waiting for connection. the psp is connected but for whatever reason it doesn't want to read it. Ive now tried this with 2 different psps that have different saved gt psp data on them. Any idea on how to get it to work? thanks

Start up GT PSP go to options then click on other and click on transfer data hope this helps.
