I was bringing my PSP to the beach (really stupid idea) just to listen to music.
Then when I came back home, I turned it on, it started making sounds like the disk was skipping so I ejected it and put it back in to make sure i put in the game right but it still didn't work. So I switched the game to make sure it was only the game but sadly it was my PSP. Does anyone know what places in Ontario i can get it fixed? I bought my PSP when it just came out so the Warranty is probably expired too.

You should of rubbed it in the sand to counteract all the air moisture from the beach.

So it was the moisture that screwed it up. Where can i get it fixed?

Just did a quick search and it seems the general advice for moisture in a psp simply to let it dry (which may take a while). I'm assuming you went recently.

For what its worth, my mate supposedly dropped his phone (smart phone) in the sea and it still worked for quite a while after.. He pretty much let the thing dry out like I've been reading on the net.

[This might be a bit extreme but this seems to be a popular method to draw out moisture using rice]

No it's definitely not moisture I've been waiting quite a few days and it's still not working.:guilty: It's probably something internal or my PSP is done it's life. Does anyone know what places I can get it fixed?
