If it has been done in the past, meh, if it hasn't, feh.

Read the following questions, imagining the scenes in your mind, and write down the FIRST thing that you visualize. Do not think about the questions excessively.

1. You are not alone. You are walking in the woods. Who are you walking with?

2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?

3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?

4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing and before you is your dream house. Describe its size.

5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?

6. You enter the house. You walk to the dining area and see the dining room table. Describe what you see on AND around the table.

7. You exit the house through the back door. Lying in the grass is a cup. What material is the cup made of?

8. What do you do with the cup?

9. You walk to the edge of the property, where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What type of body of water is it?

10. How will you cross the water?

This has been a relational psychology test. The answers given to the questions have been shown to have a relevance to values and ideals that we hold in our personal lives. The analysis follows:

1. The person who you are walking with is the most important person in your life.

2. The size of the animal is representative of your perception of the size of your problems.

3. The severity of the interaction you have with the animal is representative of how you deal with your problems. (passive/aggressive)

4. The size of your dream house is representative of the size of your ambition to resolve your problems.

5. No fence is indicative of an open personality. People are welcome at all times. The presence of a fence indicates a closed personality. You'd prefer people not to drop by unannounced.

6. If your answer did not include food, people, or flowers, then you are generally unhappy.

7. The durability of the material with which the cup is made of is representative of the perceived durability of your relationship with the person named in number 1. For example, styrafoam, plastic, and paper are all disposable, styrofoam, paper and glass are not durable, and metal and plastic are durable.

8. Your disposition of the cup is representative of your attitude towards the person in number 1.

9. The size of the body of water is representative of the size of your sexual desire.

10. How wet you get in crossing the water is indicative of the relative importance of your sex life.

My answers:

2) A Fox
3) It looks at us and we look back at it
4) Pretty big house
5) No fence

7) Porcilein (SP)
8) Pick it up and put it in the kitchen
9) A stream. Then waterfall and finally a Lake at the bottom
10) using the rocks to step on, Shoes get soaked.

So Doc. Am I a Nut Case? That's new. I didn't know how much I like that girl until now. Wow :O Thanks Mike  That helped

Great. The way you wrote "You are not alone" I instantly thought of aliens. Yep. I'm in love with, and wish to spend most of my time with, something that does not exist. I guess I'm really screwed up?

The rest I felt good about. Animal: Mountain Lion. I sized him up by looking him in the eye, and approached carefully. Small, but comfortable sized home, with lots of food, wine, and places set with fine china and a floral centerpiece. No wall. Gold cup. I drank water from the cup, so I guess I want to drink an alien? I crossed a stream before getting to a big lake. So, what the hell does that mean?

Interesting stuff, but I think it's a bit flawed the way you get to choose "woods."

EDIT: I'll change alien for my two boys. I'm holding their hands.

The gold cup: I look at it's brilliance and smile before taking a sip. I didn't add that before because I thought it sounded silly. I guess I should have opened myself up more, because of what it means.

When I cross the stream, I get soaked up to my knees. But when I get to the lake, I get in a boat and go fishing by myself.

The mountain lion: I size him up, but begin to walk around, and he does the same. But, I'm preparing for him to pounce on me, and I have my hand on a knife just in case which is still in a scabbard on my hip. But he goes his way, and I go mine.

Yea, a lot of it is up to interpretation. But still, entertaining. DRIFT - you seem quite mentally occupied with this girl :scared:

On a second look. I see what you mean. It does sound like something creepy. "You are not alone" :scared: Man I'd hate to be that stressed out kid on South Park after hearing that.

Good activity though Mike ;)👍

1) A woman
2) Rabbit/hare
3) It leaps out in front of us and we take a step back
4) A litte cottage
5) No fence
6) A white table cloth, some kind of object in the middle and a few stools around it.
7) Plastic
8) Ignore it
9) An ocean
10) Well, the first thing that came to mind was walking across it. :odd:

I know. I've tried to forget about her before. I just can't do it. You know that song by Simple Plan (I think) Addicted. That sounds like me. Sometimes I wanna smack myself in the head, as I know it may never happen. I won't give up though until she give's me a straight answer.

Anyway I like these types of quick thinking activities.

I made an edit for the first answer, but I left my first response. Not that I don't want to be with an alien, personally I think that would be cool, but I think the real answer you're looking for is now answered.

I also added some stuff that I left out that might better explain what I said, or ment to, earlier.

1. A girl that I'm totally infatuated with. A lovely, smart, pinay girl.

2. A tiger. Why would a tiger be in the woods? I don't know.

3. I shot it with a high powered rifle, killing it with one bullet.

4. My dream house was of moderate size, nothing too bloated.

5. No fence. I hate fences. I'm totally blown away by newly built houses that do not have fences. What a novel idea!

6. Plates, silverware, place mats, chairs, and a chandelier.

7. I find a china tea cup. The kind that last forever

8. I drink the tea inside it.

9. A waterfall. A raging waterfall! :D

10. I climbed into an airplane and flew across it. How surprising.

1. My best bro, Garth.

2. Tiger.

3. Fight, we kik it's arse.

4. Friggin' huge. A converted warehouse, skateboard park.

5. Nope. Skating is a free sport. :D

6. Pizza, burgers, fries. Yah know, healthy food. :D

7. Wood. Like Indiana Jones/holy grail style.

8. Drink from it, it's got Mt. Dew.

9. Ocean.

10. Pimpin' boat. Like in Notorious BIG's Hypnotize. :D

1) My wife
2) bear cub... cute
3) we look at it, it eats grass (which I don't think they eat)
4) substantial. Nothing too huge, but it was rather large and complicated
5) no fence (I think they look ugly)
6) empty wooden table and wooden chairs around it.
7) it's a coffee mug
8) I examine it and put it back, letting it alone. (I guess this means that I'm intrigued by my wife and do not want to control her?)
9) it's a lake at the foot of ice capped mountains. I didn't picture an end to it, but I'm sure that it would have stopped at the mountains.
10) canoe (I would never volunteer to jump into a lake that was at the foot of mountains... hypothermia).

Sounds like a nice vacation. When can I go?

My wife and son.

2. You are walking in the woods. You see an animal. What kind of animal is it?
A deer.

3. What interaction takes place between you and the animal?
If it was light I'd take a picture, but we just quietly stop and watch until it leaves, if it leaves.

4. You walk deeper in the woods. You enter a clearing and before you is your dream house. Describe its size.
2000 sq ft +

5. Is your dream house surrounded by a fence?
No.

6. You enter the house. You walk to the dining area and see the dining room table. Describe what you see on AND around the table.
There is a vase with flowers on the table. There are chairs around the table.

7. You exit the house through the back door. Lying in the grass is a cup. What material is the cup made of?
Cardboard.

8. What do you do with the cup?
Pick it up and throw it away.

9. You walk to the edge of the property, where you find yourself standing at the edge of a body of water. What type of body of water is it?
A lake.

10. How will you cross the water?
I will not cross the water.

Interesting. It was pretty accurate until the last few. I was merely describing a setting I have daydreamed for a long time... big comfy house in the woods next to a lake. I do not cross the water because I like neing where I am. The cup is paper because I buy coffee in a paper cup twice a day and tend to leave them on the back porch of my real house.
