Hi all,
Just posting on behalf of a friend who's conducting a survey on video game addiction, game playing and communication style as part of his psychology honours thesis.
The survey is international and takes no more than 30 minutes. If you have the time to participate, or are interested in the topic, please visit

Hoping to get a wide variety of participants, both gamers and non-gamers to allow a comparison, as well as various countries and a span of game systems and genres.

Also he needs heaps of people to do the study or he'll fail!

Thanks, Hot4.

30 minutes? I'm too busy playing GT4 for that, sorry...

:p

edit: it looks quite interesting, but seriously, 30 mins is a fairly long survey!

It felt like deja vu every page? But with different wording?

And it took 10 minutes? And I'm speaking in questions?

Seriously, did it. :)

Although I was expecting some kind of score in the end. :p

How many questions are there?
Got to 51 then got fed up
When it clearly says:"25% done" after 30 questions, what do you think how many questions there are?

I had some deja-vus as well, but I completed it anyway.

I'll give this a go tomorrow. If thirty questions equals 25% then the half hour estimate sounds pretty optimistic? :)

I'll see if the other half wants to give it a go too, she doesn't play games consoles nearly as often as me.

Done.. 👍 It's quick guys, give it a try!!

Hey Hot4, when the research finishes, see if you can bring out the results to the forum. I think this subject it's very interesting and i'm sure others here feels the same.
Good luck to you friend!

Later.

Done. 👍

About 20 mins. As dkstz said, it would be interesting to see the results if possible.

Darren.

Darn.......no results page in the end......Though I know what it would have said.

"Your a complete gaming addict. You have no social life and don't even desire one anymore. You work as little as possible to support yourself and your habbit and think about nothing but getting home to play your games all day."

'Cept I'm more of a car addict than a game addict. All my games involve cars, racing, drifting, bmx, or motorcycles. And I spend all my money on my S13.
