Reminds me of the time when this hunter shot and only wounded a dear. Instead of giving a nice clean kill, he decided to have a little fun. So, he started to beat it to death with his shotgun. I guess he should've unloaded it first, but he didn't. Shot himself to death when the shotgun went off while he was beating the dear to death.
