Race start. (Race 1)

I'd be interested if you drop Autum Ring, I really don't like that track. Clios on Suzuka are awesome, anyone remember the 550PP Suzuka 10 lappers from GT5 Prologue? And how about allowing carbon hoods & wings, Just for the look?

It's a Standard car so doesn't have a carbon bonnet and I prefer it without the wing as the real life Clios have standards wings :).

You may have confused this with the MR Clio.

It's ok ;). I rekon it's a pretty nice car to drive but I am an FF lover. ABS off certainly makes it feel nicer to drive too.

On a side note I should have some more race laps sorted tomorrow.
 
Just read through it again (properly this time), & would maybe like to give it a go. Still think Autum Ring needs to be replaced with a better real world or city track though.

Ok I took out Deep Forest as I want this to end before Christmas and that would mean starting it at lastest the 31st of October. (With 8 races)

When I can I will do a 30 min session on each to get an idea on tyre wear so I can set race 1 accordingly 👍.
 
just looked, there is no clio with 20V buddy, i guess you mean the 16V :p. Just got in a panic, thought i had the wrong car :lol:

I love the old S40 :D, great great cars :p. Just fallen in love with this clio mate, it is so nice to drive. For an FF it has very little understeer! You couldn't give me an idea of how far off the pace I am could you? After 1:40 practise (mixed in with Uni talk) I've managed a 1:32.102 at Motegi. Please tell me I'm close :lol:
 
Haven't set a lap round Motegi yet Sam. So you did enjoy ABS off then? :)

I will set a lap soon but that sounds about right for pace maybe 31s but we will see.

with this car it's so nice with no ABS. The car just starts to run a bit for you under braking, and it's alot more enjoyable :D
 
Yeah I have my BB set to help turn in, theres also the myth/thing if you turn ABS off it unlocks the true handling of a car or something :p.

7:30UTC seems to be the one people are going for and since myself and Wardez both voted on 7 and 7:30 it's looking like we will be going with 7:30 👍. (By the time we start UTC should be UK time 👍)
 
Anyone free for a bit of practise now? just restored the car's rigidity and hoping to find another few tenths.

The keyword there is hoping :lol:

For anyone who may be struggling my recommended BB is 4,2 4,1 or 3,1 👍.

Also Sam I set a 31.5 on a pretty good lap could maybe shave off more with a better setup. Was doing 31.8s most of the time.

Would anyone be up for a room from 7:00pm-8/9pm ish UTC? For a little test and photoshoot session (Maybe at Motegi and AR, AR is good for some nice 2 wheel pics ;)) so I can send some pics to our guys in PURE who will hopefully turn them into nice graphics 👍.
