Start with 10 drivers.
At the end of 2 hours 24, we were 3 to have executed all the race and 2 in the pit for the almost 1 hour.

It was very frustrating.
I'm sad.

Sad to see this happen... Hope it was just a one off with bad connections etc.

It does work... just takes a while... WSC ran around 6-10 cars most events and still had crackers, with 16 cars a couple times as you know. Hang in there, it'll pick up after time :)

With the low participation I am finding it tricky to justify continuing with this, would probably be better off focusing on hosting IndyCar.

I think the race was too long. IMO, like Jahgee, the race should to be at 1 PM EST and without doubt you are going to have too many drivers.

About the race, I had an excelent fight with Mich, I like his style, he is fast and clean, smart...I hadn't got a good setup, so, this race, Mich was unbeatable!!

Push the start back, shorten the non-major races, and possibly even eliminate the GT cars and run this as a DP only series.

It was inevitable that we'd find something GT5 can't deliver. I think mixed class endurance racing is just asking too much.

It's not impossible. I have done it on occasion.

Yeah lol. CALM and tonnes of spot races/season enders went fine ;).

I can't see this happening though, I don't know about you guys. We've had small grids both weeks and I've got to concede finally that GT5 cannot handle multi class racing; Tim's right.

GT5 can handle multi class racing, you just messed up Tom and put it early (by a person who partied Saturday night) in the morning.

I'm aware it's early for the Americans, you've said. That was deliberate, as I've said. It would have clashed with CALM (which was going fine when we started planning) as well as Indy Lights so it was pretty much impossible.

16 cars is just not enough for a multi class race.

I know, so why didn't you just wait for CALM to finish before starting up the championship?

He didn't mess anything up. Shut up.

multi-class races only work when you basically have a full grid. That's what made the first 2 CALM races successes. After those, though, attendance dropped off rapidly. GT Academy, and Wardez making the finals didn't help, but still.

You can't blame Tom for anything. He's done his absolute best.

Thanks mate, all true. It's a kick in the teeth to have done so much work to amount to nothing, I can only see this going downhill like CALM.

Yeah, you really want either a really close field, or a really large field, or a Le Mans finale if you want a good multi-class series that goes the distance, otherwise, it's spot-races.

Don't feel too bad though, it was worth the effort.👍

I set my alarm for 10:00, so I could wake up, and have enough time to have a shower and get some practice in, but, as usual for me, after I turned my alarm off, I went back to bed and fell right back asleep. Woke up again at 12.

So that was 100% my fault.

Don't worry about it man, I have trouble getting out of bed before noon on a weekend so it's understandable haha.

For the last year, I've either been working night shifts or afternoon shifts, not getting home until 1:30 in the morning. So it's even harder for me lol.

Well that sounds like hell haha. My problem arises from staying up late on weekends, talking 3am sometimes, to watch NASCAR/IndyCar races when they're on, alongside the ocassional baseball and football match which are also on generally very late here across the pond.

Don't worry, I usually stay up late on my own as well, even before work.
