PURPLE REIGN - RACING ROYALTY

At least, that's what I would like the team I wish to create to become.

I am still new to the forums but I have been playing the Gran Turismo games and various other racing games my entire life. My love for anything to do with driving knows no bounds and I'd like to share that with a team that shares my passion.

My goal is simple. Much like Project D I want the team to be the best. I want to show our competition that we are not to be taken lightly and that they must bring their best in order to compete against us. However, I would also like the team not to lose sight of why we drive - for the experience. We don't have to be the fastest. We don't have to be the most elegant (though there is a certain elegance that comes along with royalty). Often times it is simply fun to take a car and drive it for the sheer enjoyment of simply driving it. If it's true that they will be releasing more tracks in the upcoming DLC, we have plenty of driving to look forward to. Exploring is as much fun as racing to me, if not more so.

I would like to have at least 2 other tuners besides myself. I am an amateur tuner at best and am still trying to learn more about the ins and outs of tuning properly.

I would like to have all around drivers but I would like specialty drivers for certain tasks/courses that we drive on (drifters, dragsters etc.). We will drive for the sheer fun of it but we will also drive to challenge each other and push our team to the limits so that we can do the same to our competition.

For official races and gatherings we will use purple cars. Purple is a stand out color that grabs the attention of the people that see it on cars. Some cars are actually enhanced simply by the color. What's the sense of being called "Purple Reign" if we do not look the part?

My rules for the team are simple. Don't be an asshole, drive like you mean it and always be willing to do what's best for the team.

My sales pitch might seem pretty common but aside from the sheer enjoyment I wish to enjoy the comradery of simply driving and having fun with my friends and colleagues on the virtual road. The collaborative process that such a medium like this creates for a game this deep is immersive and I want to share that experience with anyone that wishes to share it with me.

Anyone else? I'd like to get the ball rolling on this fairly quickly.

What do I have to do. (From a PSN message btw)

As we get more members we need to decide on when it's best to start meeting online and start testing/meeting other teams. Personally, you don't need to do anything. We don't need to do name changes or anything like that. Just keep watching this thread for details.

I'll think about it, although I use a DS3 and I suck in general.

Haha

Are you willing to challenge teams?

I would suggest thinking your replies out a bit better before you actually post.

Both of those are pretty useless.

I don't think he meant harm by those posts. Both of these guys are guys I know, there's no disrespect there (that I am aware of anyway).
