Pyongyang - a Ghost town.

Wow, read the article, Pyongyang's turning into Prypiat another way. Of course that's bad. But it's just astonishing that so many people lived there. 50,000 for Prypiat.
That's a fairly old article anyway...

That reminds me of the changing of the guards.

Did you guys check about the hotel? Creepy...

Yeah the Ryoyung hotel which had its construction halted about a decade ago because they ran out of concrete.. God knoews why Pyongyang would need such a large hotel anyway

Have you seen the exchanging glances at 0:52? those gals scares me, they look like Terminatrix.
I like metro, it looks like a museum.

I watched a show on North Korea a few weeks ago on Nat Geo, and wow it was weird. I don't understand how they can keep so many people brainwashed, or scared, to believe eveything they do. And the laws they enforce, like you can't travel anywhere unless you get a permit.

If you go to Google Earth North Korea is completely blank. You guys know about Kijong-dong (Propaganda City)? It's near the South Korean border and made to look like a perfect city, but it's just fronts of buildings with timers for lights and some street sweepers to make it look real. Only people that live there are soldiers. Not a lot of info on it, but here's some. And it has the worlds biggest flag pole! :dopey:

And don't forget the propaganda they say about little old Kim, some say he made the hamburger. And that at the moment of his birth, a bright star lit up the sky, the seasons spontaneously changed from winter to spring, and rainbows appeared. All we know is, he's crazy.

North Korea is so weird, it's fascinating. I can't image when the time comes, and it will, that the people will figure out what's going on in the world. That will be culture shock and anger on a whole new extreme.

I think it's ridiculous enough that the country is still being officially run by a man thats been dead for 16 years!
